Search underway for missing man Victor Ashlee

Police are searching for 71-year-old Victor Ashlee who went missing from his own in Bristol on Christmas Eve.

Victor usually uses a walking frame but has left his home in Easton without it and it's not clear whether he has necessary medication with him.

Officers say they are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare and are asking anyone who knows where Victor is now to call 999 immediately.

He is described as white, about 5ft 5ins tall and of medium to large build and he walks with a stooped back.

Avon and Somerset police has released a photograph of Victor which is a few years old. He now has long grey hair, past his shoulders and a more dishevelled appearance.

Anyone with any other information which could help officers to find him, should call 101 quoting reference 5219295995.

Victor is also asked to get in touch with family or friends or call 101 to let them know he is safe.
