Search underway for missing Bristol woman who 'may appear confused'

Avon and Somerset police confirmed shortly after 9pm this evening (September 12) that Jill was found safe by an off-duty Gloucestershire Police officer in Hambrook.

A search is underway to trace a missing Bristol woman who may appear confused.

Avon and Somerset Constabulary has launched an appeal after Jill Henson nee Lewis, vanished yesterday (September 11).

She was last seen at her home in Redcliffe, at about 5pm.

Officers have urged people to call 999 immediately if they know Jill's whereabouts.

The 44-year-old is described as white, about 5ft 5ins tall, of large build with dark hair and she was was wearing a long black jumper and jeans yesterday.

A force spokesperson said: "We’re concerned for her welfare and she may appear confused.

"Jill has connections across Bristol.

"If you know where she is now, call 999 immediately.

"If you have any other information which could help us find her, ring 101 quoting reference 5219210166."
