A Garda operation is underway after a filling station in north Dublin was reportedly robbed at knifepoint.
Checkpoints have been set up and a helicopter has joined in the search after the alleged robbery of the Texaco on the Strand Road in Portmarmock.
Reports from the scene indicate a young man came in to the filling station with knife.
He took money from the register and ran.
There is a chase on with cop cars on the scene and a helicopter joining in the search
It is not the first time this station has been targeted, as in 2016 the shop was terrorised by robbers twice in the space of a week over the Christmas period, Dublin Live reports.
At around 7:45pm on Christmas Eve, a masked man entered the Texaco garage on the Strand Road in the North Dublin village and threatened the cashier on duty with a knife.

The armed robber proceeded to demand cash from the till and cigarettes, before going around the counter and taking both before making off.
Then six days later on December 30th, a robber brandishing a broken bottle entered the garage at around 7pm, again demanding cash and cigarettes.
However, this time the thief made off in a taxi, and cashier Ronan Harrington - the same on duty during the Christmas Eve raid – managed to get the cab's registration number.
