Police are searching for a wanted man from Sunderland.
Joseph Bulmer, 35, is wanted in connection with an alleged assault in the city which was reported to police last month.
A number of addresses have been checked in a bid to locate Bulmer, who is believed to be residing in the Sunderland area, but officers have not yet been able to track him down.
Northumbria Police is now asking the public for help to find him.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Now police are keen for the public to assist officers by reporting if they have seen him or know his whereabouts.
"Bulmer, or anyone who believes they have seen him, is asked to contact 101 quoting reference 0291252 or by emailing south.intell.unit@northumbria.pnn.police.uk."
