A search is under way to find a missing teenager last seen in Newcastle city centre.
Katherine Patterson, 19, was last seen near the Life Science Centre in Times Square at around 1.15pm on Monday
The teenager, of Hexham, Northumberland , was seen wearing a dark coat, with black jeans and a beige polo neck sweater.
Her older brother, John Patterson, is appealing for anyone with information to get in touch.
He said: "We are doing everything we can to try and find her. If anyone has any information can they please let us know."
A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: “Katherine is described as white, with mousey blonde hair and hazel eyes.
"She was wearing a black puffa style jacket with black skinny jeans and carrying a white linen bag with 'Lancaster University' written on it.
“Enquiries are ongoing to trace her and police would ask Katherine or anyone who knows her whereabouts to contact 101 quoting reference 1072 09/09/19.”
