A Queensland woman and a stolen car she was last seen in are still missing in Queensland's remote north, as police scale back their search.

Tea Wright-Finger, 19, was last seen in a blue Toyota Prado near Richmond, roughly 500km west of Townsville, on October 16.

A land and air search in scrub and bushland in the outback region was launched on October 22.

However, police have failed to find any trace of her or the car, which was reported stolen from Prosperine on October 14, and have decided to scale back the search.

"The investigation into her disappearance is continuing and police remain in close contact with Tea's family," police said in a statement on Monday.

They urged anyone with information to come forward.

Ms Wright-Finger is described as Caucasian, about 180cm tall with a medium build and blonde-light brown hair.
