A teenager who had not been seen for more than 24 hours after she boarded a bus at Newcastle has been found.
Jessica Kennedy has been reported missing after she was last seen getting onto the number 21 bus from Eldon Square in Newcastle, to Durham bus station at 3pm on Tuesday.
The 16-year-old, who is also known as Paige, lives in the Coventry area but had been attending an appointment in Newcastle when she went missing.
Durham Constabulary urged anyone who knew of Jessica's whereabouts to contact them.
On Wednesday evening the force confirmed that Jessica had been found.
A spokesperson said: "We’re pleased to say Jessica Kennedy has been found.
