Search launched for missing man who disappeared from Glasgow hospital

Police are searching for a man who disappeared from a Glasgow hospital.

Steven Swifen was last seen around 4pm on Monday, March 16, in the grounds of Gartnavel Hospital and may have links to the Motherwell area.

The 34-year-old is described around 5ft 9in tall, of medium build with short black hair.

When last seen, Steven was wearing a blue jumper, grey trousers and black trainers with white soles.

Sergeant Iain Wilson, of Partick Response Policing, said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Steven’s welfare and are appealing for information to help trace him safe and well.

“I would ask anyone who has seen someone matching this description or has any information relating to Steven’s whereabouts to get in contact with police.”

Anyone with information on Steven’s disappearance, is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 2447 of Monday, 16 March, 2020.
