A teenager who left home to go to the gym is missing for a third day, police have confirmed.
Chelsea Thompson 14, left home in Gateshead on Tuesday saying that she would be home at 8.30pm after the gym.
She did not return home and has now been missing for three days.
Police have now made a fresh appeal for anyone who knows Chelsea's whereabouts to come forward as their search continues.
Her family are said to be concerned about her whereabouts and welfare.
Chelsea is described as being 5ft 2ins, has a slim build and white complexion but on occasion wears a fake tan.
A photograph of Chelsea has been released by Northumbria Police on social media.
She was last seen wearing a camouflage puffer jacket, black leggings and grey Nike trainers.
Anyone who knows of Chelsea's whereabouts is asked to contact Northumbria Police on 101 incident number 1069 of 02/04/19.
