Search for person seen acting in 'concerning manner' in Falkirk

A big emergency response was sparked in Falkirk earlier after reports a person was acting in a concerning way near a building site.

Cops were called to land where the former Forth Valley College used to be just after 1:30pm this afternoon, Wednesday July, 28.

A number of police vans and officers could be seen surrounding the area.

Falkirk Live understands no one has been traced and officers are asking anyone who might have spotted anything this walking or driving along Grangemouth Road to get in touch.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said:"Around 1.35pm, officers were approached in Grangemouth Road, Falkirk regarding a concern for a person seen in the area.

"They carried out a search but no one was traced and there is no criminality involved."
