A Calverton woman is continuing a long-running search to find the rightful owners of a box containing six World War Two medals.
Kimberley Farnsworth, 22, was passed the box several years ago after her partner's family friend found it at the side of Ramsdale Park Golf Centre.
She said: "We have been to the police and the British Legion but we got told to keep them safe and if anyone comes forward we can go from there.
"The most important thing is to get the medals back to the family, they're not mine to keep."
Inside the box, the name 'Arthur James Scott, Brigg' is written on a piece of paper.
Kimberley thinks this is the only clue as to who owns these medals.
She added: "I posted it on Facebook and a lot of people were tagging people with the same surname.
"Some people even asked if I was selling them but to me it isn't about the value.
"If I was the family, I would want them back.
"His children, if he had children, would still be around and it getting to them is the important thing."
Kimberley thinks one of the medals is missing as it is ticked off inside the box but is not present.
The six other medals include the Distinguished Service Cross, the Defence Medal and a War Medal 1939-45.
She added: "We do believe there is one medal missing and the one missing is worth a lot of money.
"We think the box might have been originally stolen and that's why it was found on the golf course.
"We just hope someone has information."
