Newcastle United fan who went missing after West Brom FA Cup game 'arrives home safe'

A Newcastle United fan who "went missing" after last night's FA Cup game has arrived home safe and sound, his family have said.

Nathan Bullock, from Gateshead, was at the Magpies ' clash with West Brom but was reported missing afterwards, the club tweeted this morning.

His older brother, Graham Bullock, said on Facebook that Nathan had travelled to West Bromwich by coach to watch the game.

His post said his little brother was believed to have disappeared after going to the toilet - a move which was described as "out of character".

But Graham has now confirmed: "He's arrived home fine, unaware of everything going on."

He added: "Thanks for all the shares and messages."

NUFC had tweeted earlier today: "Missing Person Nathan Bullock attended NUFC 's game against West Brom last night, travelling down on the coach, but has since been reported missing.

"If anybody has any information on Nathan's whereabouts please contact Northumbria Police as soon as possible."

Northumbria Police said: "We are working closely with West Midlands Police to try and trace Nathan's whereabouts after the NUFC match last night."
