Gardai have stood down a search for a missing woman after a body was discovered.
Deirdre Redmond, 50, from the Gorey area of Wexford, was last seen on Saturday, July 11.
Her family were extremely concerned for her wellbeing and sought Garda assistance in tracing her.
Sadly, it was revealed this evening that the Coast Guard have found a body.
A garda spokesperson said: "Following the discovery of a body of a woman by the Coast Guard near Courtown, Co Wexford on 17/7/2020, the missing person appeal for Deirdre Redmond has now been stood down.
"No further action is required."

The official Find Deirdre Facebook page shared a sad update, writing: "Confirmed Deirdre has been found.
Thank you everybody for their help, no more searches."
Gorey Family Resource Centre posted a tribute also: "It is with great sadness that we confirm Deirdre Redmond has been found. May she rest in peace
"Our thoughts now are with Deirdre's husband Pat, her sons Anthony and Jason and her daughter Niamh and family and friends.
"Ar dheis dè go raibh a anam dìlis."
Deirdre was last seen on CCTV at Warren Park in Ballymoney at around 3.20pm on Saturday.
Irish Coast Guard searches had been taking place over the last number of days on the shoreline near Ballymoney and Courtown.
Emergency services twice received reports of an item floating in the water near Courtown on Wednesday, but crews were unable to find anything after an extensive search.
