Search for missing teen, 16, not seen for days

Police have launched an urgent appeal for information over a missing teenager believed to be in Manchester.

Jay Scott, 16, from Cumbria has now been missing for around three days.

Jay Scott, from Barrow, last seen at around 1.15pm on Tuesday, June 29 at the junction of Abbey Road and Rawlinson Street in the street.

However, Cumbria Police said he has links to the Manchester area and it is possible he may have travelled here.

And they say they are now concerned for his welfare, as they ask anyone who sees him or who has information about his whereabouts to contact them immediately.

He is said to be of broad build with cropped, curly hair.

He was last seen wearing a black gillet, red jogging bottoms and was carrying a blue carrier bag.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 101 and call Cumbria Police. Or anyone who sees him is asked to call 999.
