Police are searching for a kite surfer who has gone missing at Pendine Sands.
Officers at Dyfed Powys Police say no-one has spoken to Christopher Goldworthy, 32, since 5pm on Sunday.
In an appeal, they say he was last seen kite surfing at the Carmarthenshire beach.
The area is very popular with kite surfers because the conditions there can be perfect for the sport.
A spokesman for Dyfed Powys Police said that coastguards searched the water on Sunday evening, but had to stand down the search due to "worsening weather".
He added: "If you've seen Christopher, or have any information, contact us by calling 101."
The search is expected to resume on Monday.
