Darlington schoolgirl Hayley Maddison found 'safe and well'

A missing school girl has been found safe and well.

On Wednesday thousands of people shared an appeal to find missing Hayley Maddison, 14, from Darlington.

She had gone missing from her home on Monday along with her dog, but by Wednesday afternoon police reported she had been located.

A spokesperson for Durham Constabulary said: "Hayley Maddison, 14 has now been found safe and well. Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal to find Hayley."
