A manhunt is underway as Merseyside police search for a person in connection to a number of incidents.
Officers are looking for David Bigley who may be able to help with the investigation into a number of incidents of theft, shoplifting and burglary in Southport. Anyone who has seen the 42-year-old, of Hesketh Bank, is asked to contact police.
Detectives hope the appeal will help find where Mr Bigley is. He is described as 5ft 10in, medium build, short brown hair and blue eyes. Anyone with information about his whereabouts are being asked to contact police.

A spokesperson for the force said: "Officers are appealing for help in locating a man they would like to speak to in connection with reports of theft, shoplifting and burglary in Southport. It is believed David Bigley, 42 years, from Hesketh Bank, may be able to help with enquiries following with a with a number of incidents of theft from people, shoplifting and burglary of businesses in Southport.
