Search for former councillor’s missing husband intensified

The Nandagudi police have intensified the search operation to track down 36-year-old Lohith, husband of Aishwarya, former councillor of Binnipet, who has been missing under mysterious circumstances since March 28.

The police found a car abandoned on the roadside near Shivapura gate on the outskirts of the city, where the police found blood stains, a pair of slippers and a belt used by Lohith.

According to the police, Lohith had left home to meet his friend and last spoken to his family saying that his car had a puncture, and that he will be late.

Lohith owned a bike repair workshop and had also taken a few acres of land on lease on the outskirts of the city to organise bike races and rallies.

Later, his family members, after realising that his phone was switched off, went in search of him and found his car abandoned in the Nandagudi police station limits.

Three special teams have been formed to track down Lohith and they are investigating all angles to crack the mystery of the missing case, the police added.
