Search for family of rough sleeper found dead in care home grounds

Police are searching for the family of a 'rough sleeper' who was found dead in the grounds of a Trafford care home.

The man has been identified as 48-year-old Tobias Hake, the force said.

He was originally from Germany, but had been 'rough sleeping' in the Altrincham and Bowdon areas of Trafford.

He was sadly found dead in the grounds of a care home in Bowdon on Wednesday, May 12.

In a post on the GMP Trafford South Facebook page, police said Mr Hake's death is not believed to be suspicious.

It's believed that he arrived in the UK in 2014.

"He has no fixed abode but may have associates in both the city centre areas of Manchester and Liverpool", the post adds.

Detectives are appealing for help to trace his family.

Anyone with information about Mr Hake's next of kin should contact the Police Coroner’s Office in Stockport on 0161 856 9696.
