The friend of a man who vanished before a date in Glasgow has issued a frantic appeal for help.

Craig Lamont was last seen around 10am on Saturday when he was believed to be boarding a train into the city.

The 38-year-old from Livingston has not been seen or heard from since and is believed to be battling personal problems.

He is also believed to have 'very little cash on him'.

Worried friend Ross Cunningham has said Craig was believed to be getting the train to Glasgow for a date and his last known contact was made around 8.30pm before his phone was turned off.

He explained: "Craig has now been missing for three nights and four days we are all getting concerned for his safety. He was apparently getting the train to Glasgow for a date"

Craig is described as 6ft tall, slim build, short brown hair and facial hair.

When last seen, he was wearing blue jeans and shirt and has two tattoos on his forearms and large tattoo on his back.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police on 101 quoting incident number 1549 of September 7, 2020.
