Police are trying to piece together the movements of a young man found dead in the Cuningar Loop Woodland Park.
An investigation has been launched following the death of Jerry Omogieva on Friday, July 17.
The 23-year-old was in the park on Downiebrae Road in Rutherglen between 8.30pm and 10pm on the night he died.
Officers are looking to speak to anyone who might have seen him while there.
Jerry is described as black, 5ft 10ins, of slim build with black dreadlocks.
He was wearing dark clothing and carrying a rucksack.
Detective Inspector Gordon Sneddon said: “We would like to speak to anyone who may have seen Jerry between 8.30pm and 10pm either in the park or the surrounding area.”
“If you can help with our enquiries then please call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 4250 of Friday, 17 July, 2020.”
