Search continues for missing Dundee man who may have travelled to Edinburgh

Police Scotland have issued an appeal to help trace a missing man from Dundee who could be in Edinburgh.

Officers are currently searching for information regarding the whereabouts of 29 year-old Michael Winter.

Known to live in the Dundee area, police have reason to believe Michael may have travelled to Edinburgh as he currently has links there.

The last known contact Michael made with anyone was on Monday (August 24) when he was spoken to on the phone at around 7.30pm.

Since that point, Michael has not been seen or heard from, with growing concerns for his whereabouts.

He has been described as white, 5'10" tall, with a medium build and black hair.

To help locate Michael, anyone with information has been urged to come forward by police.

To do so, you can call Police Scotland on 101 and quote incident number 3150 of 26th August 2020 or by speaking to any Police Officer.

Alternatively information can be passed anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
