Search continues for Crook man John Beadnell who has been missing for seven months

Police are continuing their search for missing County Durham man John Beadnell.

The 67-year-old was last seen leaving his home on Gaskell Way, Crook, on or around July 27 last year.

Officers were contacted by an individual who had not seen John in some time, with checks confirming this was the last sighting of him.

He was driving a blue 62 plate Skoda Octavia.

John is described as 6ft and of slim build, with grey hair and beard, blue eyes, and glasses.

Although his home address is in Crook, police have reason to believe he may currently be residing in Alnwick, Northumberland.

If you think you may have seen Mr Beadnell, or have any information relating to his whereabouts, please contact Durham Police on 101, quoting incident number 264 of February 1.
