Search continues for 15-year-old girl who went missing in North Shields

Police are continuing to search for a 15-year-old girl who went missing in North Shields.

Seesha Dack has not been seen by friends or family since 7pm on Sunday when she was in the Fish Quay area.

The youngster is described as white, 5’4 and was last seen wearing black leggings and a khaki green jacket.

Officers from Northumbria Police are now growing increasingly concerned for her welfare and are appealing to the public for information.

A post on Facebook read: "None of her friends or family have seen her and her phone is off.

"Seesha needs to be found, the police are looking for her, she’s not in trouble everyone is just concerned."

A police spokesman said: "The 15-year-old was last seen at Fish Quay, North Shields, at around 7pm on Sunday.

"She is described as white, 5’4 and was last seen wearing black leggings and a khaki green jacket.

"Officers are now growing increasingly concerned for her welfare and are appealing to the public for information.

"Seesha, anyone who knows her whereabouts or believes they might have seen her is asked to give us a call as soon as possible."

Anyone who knows her whereabouts, or believes they might have seen her, is asked to call Northumbria Police as soon as possible on 101 quoting reference 947 of August 30.
