Seann Walsh has welcomed his first child with girlfriend Grace Adderley.
But the comedian, who appeared on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! last year, revealedhe fainted during the birth. The 37-year-old praised hospital staff for looking after both him and Grace as he poked fun at his reaction to the birth.
Writing on Instagram, he joked: "Oh btw. I passed out during the birth. Of course I did. The nurse's response... 'Men.' Fair."
Speaking from hospital, he told his viewers in a sweet video: "So Grace has just had our baby and I'm sat here in the very relaxing postnatal department and the staff have been great.
"The nurses have been coming up to me all morning and congratulating me which - it's just been lovely. I didn't realise how many people knew what the Chortle Comedy Award for Best Show was but you know, at least these nurses have their finger on the pulse, they really do. Just shows you how well the NHS is doing, really.
"I should have brought the award with me but I wasn't thinking."
Seann couldn't keep a straight face, and added: "The baby. But yeah, no, great week actually. Really great week, actually."
Fans and famous friends rushed to the comments of Seann's baby announcement post, wishing the couple well. Seann's jungle campmate Sue Cleaver commented: "Congratulations to you and Grace. Cant wait for a cuddle xxxxx"
Actor and comedian Rosie Holt penned: "Ahhhhhh omg Seann !!!!! Congratulations!!!! Xxxxxxz," while comic Lloyd Griffith wrote: "Woooo!! Congrats guys xxx".
After Seann's stint in the jungle, pregnant Grace joined him in Australia after he left the ITV reality show and discussed how much she missed him.
Asked if she was missing Seann, she said: "I do really miss him but I want him to have the full experience I want him to be in as a long as possible just so he has those memories and yeah I am pregnant so it is strange but I have done all my scans and he was there for all of those so I am now at the point where I have no scans left anyway so it has been fine."
