Cork GAA is in mourning after the death of legendary hurler Seanie O'Leary.

O'Leary is among the most decorated hurlers in the county's history and won four All-Ireland medals in his time in red.

O'Leary was aged 69 when he passed away.

The Youghal man was one of the finest players of his generation and won three All-Ireland medals in a row between 1976 and 1978.

O'Leary also retired with three All-Stars and nine Munster titles as well as four National Leagues.

And tributes came pouring in for the hurler with former teammate Tomas Mulcahy saying: "Just heard of the sad passing of one of Corks greatest - Seanie o Leary - some man to get you a goal - lovely person - Condolences to all his family - RIP Seanie"

O'Leary's was the father of highly success rugby player Tomas O'Leary.
