Sean Slater star says EastEnders bosses have been begging him to return for YEARS

Sean Slater star Rob Kazinsky has revealed that EastEnders bosses have been begging him to return to the soap for years.

Bad boy Sean has arrived back in Albert Square after a whole decade away.

And actor Rob has admitted he's been listening to bosses' pleas for several years now.

"Every few years I've had a phone call from someone at EastEnders saying, 'What about this year?' and I've always said no," Rob told New magazine.

"But I've always wanted to come back and give Sean the send-off he deserved.

"It's been 10 years since I left and if there's ever a time for me to come back, then this is probably it," Rob added.

Sean Slater returned last night to Walford in explosive scenes - heading straight to Walford Primary school to kidnap Amy Branning.

Since leaving Albert Square, Rob has been living the Hollywood high-life, starring in blockbusters such as True Blood opposite Anna Paquin, and Pacific Rim with Idris Elba and Charlie Hunnam.

He also has five more movies in the making, which he is keeping closely under wraps.

The only trouble he confesses to having when he reunited with the 'Enders cast was doing the Cockney accent again.

"I was worried about that until I started working with Gillian Wright and Lacey Turner again. I got right back in the groove. It felt so familiar," he joked.
