Deiveson Figueiredo cost himself the flyweight title on Saturday due to missing weight prior to his win over Joseph Benavidez in the UFC on ESPN+ 27 main event.

Figueiredo (18-1 MMA, 7-1 UFC) was 2.5 pounds heavy for the bout, which he won by second-round TKO, and as a result was deemed ineligible to take home the strap from the headliner, which took place at Chartway Arena in Norfolk, Va.
