It didn’t take long to arrive at the reasonable conclusion that Tom Brady is bad at golf. Well, at least relative to his competition.
While Peyton Manning held his own for much of The Match on Sunday alongside Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson, Brady looked like a casual golfer who’d brag about breaking 100. Nothing was going well for Brady. Sure, he was playing in the rain, on national television and with two golf greats. But he struggled to put together a competent shot.
It got to the point where celebrities were calling in to the broadcast just to offer donations in hopes of Brady doing something, anything good on the golf course. Brooks Koepka offered $100,000 if Brady could make a par.
But not everyone was feeling bad for Brady. His new NFC South rival, Saints head coach Sean Payton, particularly enjoyed watching Brady struggle in Florida.
That man has a family, Sean!
OK, maybe he had a good point.
