Sean Payton keeps promise, gets slimed after Saints win on Nickelodeon

With the New Orleans playing the Chicago Bears in an NFL playoff game simulcast on Nickelodeon Sunday afternoon, Saints head coach Sean Payton made a promise ahead of the contest: if his team won, he would be willing to be slimed by the iconic green goo associated with all things Nick.

Payton didn’t forget on Sunday. And after a Nickelodeon broadcast that including computer-generated slime after a touchdown and an F-bomb on the air, Payton got hit with the green stuff (fun fact: did you know it was made up of vanilla pudding, applesauce, oatmeal and green food coloring? That was back in the day, I’m not sure if that’s still the recipe).

Here’s his promise:
