Fans of comedian Sean Lock are "gutted" after his death was announced today.
Eight out of Ten cats star Sean passed away aged 58 after a cancer battle, his management confirmed on Wednesday morning.
A statement from his agent Off The Kerb Productions said: "It is with great sadness that we have to announce the death of Sean Lock.

"He died at home from cancer, surrounded by his family.
"Sean was one of Britain's finest comedians, his boundless creativity, lightning wit and the absurdist brilliance of his work, marked him out as a unique voice in British comedy.t
"Sean was also a cherished husband and father to three children.
"Sean will be sorely missed by all that knew him.
"We kindly request that the privacy of his family and children is respected at this difficult time."
Channel 4 and several well known comedians have shared their fond memories of Sean since the tragic news was announced.
And many ECHO readers have also paid tribute to the star.
Ste Hunter said: "Arr gutted! The poor fella had beaten skin cancer once before as well. RIP, great comedian."
Patricia Gallagher said: "Ah how sad, I loved Sean he was so funny. What a young age, deepest sympathy to his family xx rip Sean xx"
June Barr said: "What awful news it won't be the same without him he had a fantastic sense of humour. He was so young. Deepest Sympathy to his family!!"
