Sean Fletcher unveils new look on Good Morning Britain after lockdown transformation

Sean Fletcher was welcomed back to Good Morning Britain on Thursday morning, after almost six months off.

The telly host hadn't been on the show since the coronavirus pandemic escalated in the UK in March.

Lockdown came into place to help to stop the spread of Covid-19, with only a few presenters and crew allowed in the studio.

Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid took the bulk of the duties, while they are now on their holidays so Sean has returned - with him also replacing Ben Shephard who is back filming Tipping Point.

Viewers were excited to see the original GMB star back behind the desk, welcoming him back on Twitter.

But many noticed he looked totally different to the last time he was on the show.

In fact, Sean had undergone quite the lockdown transformation, with him talking about it on the show.

Sean, when he was last on, had no hair but has now grown it out with a longer hairdo - while he still has his facial hair.

He impressed viewers with his new look too, with some urging him to keep it.

Taking to Twitter, the viewers rushed to comment with his co-host Charlotte Hawkins reading the comments out on air.

He got a little flustered as he realised how taken to his new look the viewers were.

Another tweeted: "Hi Sean. Good to have you back. Hair on point, love - love it, you’re rocking it! Have a good day."

A third added: "Morning Sean. Good to have your smiling face back! The longer hair actually makes you look younger!"

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
