Sean Dyche has revealed he dedicated victory at Everton to his brother in law who passed away recently.
Burnley won 2-1 at Goodison Park with goals from Chris Wood and Dwight McNeill.
And Dyche said later: “My wife Jane lost her brother he was only 47 and he was buried last week so that was for him.
“I played a song before the game, a dance classic from Ibiza. The players didn't know anything about it before the game but I told them afterwards.
“It was just a personal thing that I don't normally do.”
Defeat put a dent in Everton's hopes of a Champions League place next season.
And boss Carlo Ancelotti suffered another blow losing keeper Jordan Pickford with a recurrence of a rib injury which could make him a doubt for England's forthcoming World Cup qualifiers.
Said the Italian boss :“It's the same problem for Pickford . I hope he can recover soon and it's not going to be big problem but it its the same injury that kept him out recently.”
Ancelotti also bemoaned their continued struggles at Goodison Park which he was at a loss to explain.
"We had a bad start, we made mistakes and were punished," he told BBC Sport.

"After that it was difficult to get back in the game because we didn't show the quality that was necessary.
"It's a big disappointment but we don't have to give up. There are still 10 games in the Premier League and we have to fight until the end.
"It's difficult to explain [our home record], but of course it's not good enough.
"We've got a lot of points away and that's a reason we're still in the fight [for Europe], but we have to do better at home."
