The evidence presented in the Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs trial so far hasn’t just shocked the masses, it’s shocked the jury.
During day three of Combs’ federal trial for racketeering conspiracy and prostitution, the hip-hop artist’s former partner, Cassie Ventura, took the stand.
During her testimony, Ventura painted a sordid picture, alleging that she suffered physical and emotional abuse from Combs. She also alleged that he asserted control of her life and often exercised that control by making her perform certain acts at sex parties, which he called “freak-offs“.

As she gave her testimony on the stand, the jury was shown multiple still images depicting Ventura with three male escorts. To protect her privacy, only the jury, Combs and the lawyers on the prosecution and defence were allowed to see the photos.
According to multiple reports, the room fell silent when the jurors saw the images on individual screens. The Daily Mail reported that one male juror’s eyebrows raised upon viewing them, while a female viewer “swallowed hard and appeared to move her head side to side”.
Another man took notes while a different female juror nodded her head at the images.
“There is baby oil on me and I am standing there during a freak off with a candle and lubricant on the table,” Ventura said, describing one of the images, per Sky News.
Three days into the trial — which is expected to last up to 12 weeks — the court has heard a series of troubling allegations. A 15-minute video of the rapper attacking Ventura in a hotel has been submitted to evidence and viewed by the court.
The court also heard testimony from Ventura in which she alleged that her former partner once made a male escort urinate in her mouth while he masturbated in a corner.

On day one of the trial, the prosecution told the court that this case was levelled on more than the sexual proclivities of the rapper.
“Let me be clear, this case is not about a celebrity’s private sexual life. The evidence will show the sexual conduct was coercive and criminal,” lawyer Emily Johnson said in her opening statement.
Meanwhile, the defence argued that while Combs was a “complicated man” this was not a complicated case, claiming that the women who have made allegations against him are “capable, strong, adult women” who had the ability to make their own choices.
The federal trial comes after Combs was arrested on charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and prostitution-related offences on September 16, 2024.
He is pleading not guilty to one count of racketeering conspiracy, two counts of sex trafficking and two counts of transportation for prostitution, which are all felony charges.
