Sean "Diddy" Combs was injured in a car crash on Wednesday afternoon, Beverly Hills police have said. The 42-year-old rapper and music impresario was a passenger in a Cadillac Escalade SUV that collided with a Lexus RX at around 1pm outside the Beverly Hills Hotel.
Diddy received medical attention at the scene, where he was pictured lying on the ground, but he was not taken to hospital. The car in which Diddy was a passenger had its front end caved in by the impact and had to be towed away.
The Cadillac had been heading west along Sunset Boulevard when the Lexus made a left turn in front of it. No blame has yet been apportioned for the collision.
In August, will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas was also involved in a car crash in Los Angeles when he hit a parked car with his Cadillac, in which Cheryl Cole was a passenger.
