Sean Cox match LIVE stream as Liverpool Legends take on Republic of Ireland XI at Aviva Stadium

There is a special football match taking place in Dublin tonight.

The Seán Cox charity game between Liverpool Legends and an Republic of Ireland XI will be played at the Aviva Stadium.

The match kicks-off at 7.45pm and will feature some legendary names including Ian Rush, Robbie Fowler, Sami Hyypia Robbie Keane and Jason McAteer.

The Anfield Reds will be managed by Sir Kenny Dalglish with the fundraiser in aid of the Seán Cox Rehabilitation Trust.

If you aren't able to attend the game in Dublin, you can still watch it live and free across LFC's official channels.

The game will be available to watch live and free on LFCTV,  LFCTV GO YouTube  and  Facebook .

Dad of three Seán is currently rehabilitating after sustaining life-changing injuries in a vicious assault outside Anfield last year.

He was seriously injured last April after he was attacked by AS Roma supporters before Liverpool's Champions League semi-final tie outside Anfield.

Cox will make his first public appearance in Friday's game as he leaves hospital for the first time since the attack.

Republic legends team:

Wayne Henderson, Stephen Kelly, Kevin Foley, Sean St Ledger, Kenny Cunningham, Ian Harte, Kevin Kilbane, Steven Reid, Ray Houghton, Ronnie Whelan, Colin Healy, Lee Carsley, Graham Kavanagh, Keith Fahey, Stephen McPhail, Keith Andrews, Andy Reid, Liam Lawrence, Stephen Hunt, Damien Duff, Stephen Elliott, Niall Quinn, Kevin Doyle.

Liverpool legends team:

Sander Westerveld, Jerzy Dudek, Glen Johnson, Patrik Berger, Steve McManaman, Vladimir Smicer, Salif Diao, Robbie Fowler, Ian Rush, Djibril Cisse, Neil Mellor.

Both teams:  Jason McAteer, John Aldridge, Phil Babb and Robbie Keane will play for both teams on the day.
