Sean Connor is reported to be on the verge of a League comeback - with struggling Limerick.
The former Sligo, Bohemians and Dundalk manager is linked with a boardroom post with the First Division outfit.
The news comes just 48 hours after potential investors withdrew their interest and after last Friday was the deadline was set for the payment of March wages to players.
But Connor, who has also been linked with a potential takeover, may now work alongside current owner Pat O'Sullivan - possibly as CEO, according to Live 95.
