Sean Connery's brother Neil dead aged 82 after long illness

Sean Connery 's younger brother Neil has died aged 82, after long illness, it has been confirmed.

The sad news comes just seven months after the James Bond star's sudden death, reports The Daily Star.

He appeared alongside brother Sean in spoof Operation Kid Brother in 1967.

In a tribute post, family friend Steve Begg said: "He looked and sounded like his big bro."

He leaves his wife Eleanor, plus two daughters Martine and Leone.
