Everton full-back Seamus Coleman has said that the Toffees' number one aim this season is to qualify for Europe.
The Goodison Park club had a difficult start to the season under former manager Marco Silva, with the Portuguese being shown the door after 18-months in charge.
The decision to replace Silva was made after a 5-2 loss against fierce Merseyside rivals Liverpool left them in the Premier League relegation zone.
Silva was replaced by former Chelsea, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich boss Carlo Ancelotti, who has won five and drew two of his nine games in charge so far, leading to Everton climbing the table.
The Toffees are now in seventh place in the Premier League, just five points adrift of Chelsea in the fourth and final Champions League spot.
Coleman now says that the ambitions of the club have changed over the last two months.
"We're trying to catch those European places. A few months ago, we probably didn't think that was possible," he told evertontv.
"But we're playing well now and just looking forward to every game.
"We've got to push for Europe. I think this club needs European football and we all want that.
"Where this football club wants to get in the next three, four, five years, it has to be wanting European football every year and if we can get it this year."
Everton are next in action when they face Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday 23rd February.
