Seahawks WR D.K. Metcalf snaps back at Shannon Sharpe: ‘Stop questioning me’

The Seattle Seahawks suffered several self-inflicted wounds in their overtime loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers last night. There were a couple more near-disasters that were narrowly averted, as well. Wide receiver D.K. Metcalf’s fumble at the end of regulation was one of them.

Thanks to some quick thinking by Freddie Swain, Seattle was able to spike the ball and get off a game-tying field goal by Jason Meyers.

Hall of Fame tight end and current analyst Shannon Sharpe called out Metcalf on Twitter for trying to play hero ball, asking what he was thinking.

Metcalf responded this morning, telling Sharpe to stop questioning him.

Metcalf caught six of seven targets from Geno Smith, totaling 58 yards. For the season, he’s at 31 catches, 441 yards and five touchdowns.
