Seahawks will wear ‘Action Green’ uniforms against Rams on Thursday

The Seattle Seahawks (3-1) will play the Los Angeles Rams (3-1) in their Color Rush “Action Green” uniforms for Thursday Night Football in one of the most important games of the season for both franchises.

The Seahawks are undefeated in these uniforms, compiling a record of 3-0 since they debuted in Week 15 of 2016 when they played the Rams on another Thursday night. Fans hope that undefeated streak will continue against perhaps their most formidable rival in the NFC West.

However, Richard Sherman and Kam Chancellor both played their last games in a Seahawks uniform wearing the Action Green. During the 22-16 victory over the Arizona Cardinals in 2017, Sherman tore his Achilles and Chancellor suffered a career-ending neck injury. After that, a 21-7 victory over the Vikings last year boosted Seattle’s record in Action Green to 3-0.

Color Rush uniforms are no longer mandatory, but NFL teams can still wear them if they wish. The Seahawks are going that route this week. The game on Thursday starts at 5:20 p.m. PT.
