The 2020 NFL schedule is out, and the Seattle Seahawks will be spending more time in the air than any other team in the league, according to a tweet from Brian Burke of ESPN.
Seattle will travel close to 30,000 miles round trip in 2020, beating out fellow west coast teams like the Rams, 49ers, and Chargers, who finished second through fourth, respectively.
Typically the west coast teams dominate this list, and without international travel this year to tip the scales it has become apparent how much more they have to travel than their counterparts on the east coast and in the middle of the country.
Seattle has road trips to Atlanta, Miami, Buffalo, Philadelphia and Washington this season, along with their customary NFC West road trips to San Francisco, Arizona and Los Angeles.
With an early bye week and a lot of long road trips this year, this team’s resolve will be tested by the end of the campaign – assuming all games are played on time and in their scheduled venues.
