Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf combined with quarterback Russell Wilson to put up solid numbers in Week 9 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Metcalf logged six receptions on nine targets for 123 yards and a touchdown, earning him a nomination for Pepsi’s Rookie of the Week.
“You can see he’s excelling, it’s part of it,” coach Pete Carroll said Monday. “He’s very comfortable in the moments and very comfortable with the challenges and the process of learning. Here we are, game 13 or something (counting preseason) … with our guys and he’s hanging right in there just like he’s been around before. I can’t say we had that one nailed.”
