The Seahawks haven’t had much luck against the Rams over the last decade. Whether it was Jeff Fisher’s special teams nonsense or Sean McVay’s schematic mastery, Pete Carroll’s teams have usually been on the losing end despite having more talent on paper.
As is appropriate, most experts are picking against Seattle for tonight’s game against LA. According to NFL pick watch, 77% are predicting a Rams win. While it’s tempting to go with the crowd, there are things to consider outside of the series history. For one thing, these Seahawks have an excellent record in primetime during the Russell Wilson era.
Russell Wilson is always good, but especially so in primetime.
The Seahawks are 29-8-1 (.776 win percentage) with Wilson under center, the best win percentage for a team with any starting QB in primetime since 1950 (minimum 20 starts).

This team has also been tough to beat on short weeks. They have a 9-1 record with Wilson as their starter on Thursday nights.

Our hearts always say Seattle in a division game, but our head says the final score will be Rams, 33, Seahawks 30.
