The Seattle Seahawks have finally added to a position of need, acquiring a little help for the defensive side of the ball. Seattle has traded with the Cincinnati Bengals to acquire defensive end, Carlos Dunlap and some much-needed pass rush assistance.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Seahawks are sending linebacker B.J. Finney and a seventh-round pick to the Bengals in exchange. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport first reported the trade. Multiple media outlets are now confirming the move.
Dunlap was originally selected by the Bengals in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft out of the University of Florida. He has spent all 11 years of his career in Cincinnati.
