Seahawks trade down from No. 64 in the 2020 NFL draft

After trading up to pick defensive end Darrell Taylor in the second round, the Seattle Seahawks have now traded with the Carolina Panthers to move down five spots in the 2020 NFL Draft.

The Seahawks traded the No. 64 pick to Carolina in exchange for pick No. 69 as well as pick No. 148 in the fourth round.

The Seahawks have had the 69th overall pick just once in their franchise history, back in 2015 when they selected wide receiver Tyler Lockett.

The Seahawks are known for trading back in the NFL draft in order to acquire more picks, something that has become a staple of the regime under general manager John Schneider.

The Seahawks will make pick No. 69 on Friday evening, and pick No. 148 will be made along with Seattle’s three other picks on Saturday, April 25. The draft is set to begin on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. PT.

The rest of Seattle’s picks are as follows:

Round 3 (69)

Round 4 (133)

Round 4 (144)

Round 4 (148)

Round 6 (214)
