Seahawks TE Will Dissly graduates from University of Washington

Seattle Seahawks tight end Will Dissly officially graduated from the University of Washington last weekend, earning a degree in economics.

Dissly spent four years at UW, from 2014-2017. However, he still had some credits remaining when he was selected in the fourth round of the 2018 NFL draft by the Seahawks.

Dissly’s first season with the Seahawks saw him win the tight end job outright and get off to a strong start to the season, only to suffer a season-ending knee injury in Week 4. He’s working his way back from that injury and is expected to be 100 percent by training camp.

He also managed to find time during his rehab to complete his coursework at Washington, allowing him to walk in the graduation ceremony on Saturday.

Dissly’s accomplishment is an impressive one, and the Seahawks took notice by congratulating him individually on Twitter for going back to finish his degree.

Dissly and the rest of the Seahawks will have the rest of June and most of July off before reporting to training camp at the end of the month.
