Seahawks tackle Duane Brown suffers arm injury against Saints

The Seahawks took a hit Sunday afternoon when they fell 33-27 to the New Orleans Saints at home. One of the few highlights of the game was Seattle’s ability to finishing the outing with only a few new injuries.

Left tackle Duane Brown, however, left the matchup in the second half and with an arm injury and was unable to return to the game.

Coach Pete Carroll provided an update on Brown’s status Monday morning during his weekly radio show on 710 ESPN Seattle.

“I just saw him in the hallway,” Carroll told Brock and Salk. “He’s got a sore bicep. He’s OK, he tested out OK. He’s got a little strength, so that’s good news there.”

As for other injuries, Carroll said safety Bradley McDougald tweaked his ankle but was able to leave the stadium without a boot.

Carroll is scheduled to speak to the media at 3 p.m. and should have additional injury updates at that time.
