The NFL has already announced the dates and times for two regular season games on the 2019 schedule. The Green Bay Packers will battle the Bears in Chicago on Thursday, Sept. 5 and the New England Patriots will face off against an opponent to be named later on Sunday, Sept. 8 in prime time.
The remainder of the official regular-season schedule is expected to be released sometime before the draft in April.
Looking at this year’s opponents, the NFL has ranked each team’s strength of schedule.
The determination is made based on opponents’ combined 2018 records and win percentages. Using that formula, the Seahawks are set to play the eighth-easiest (25th hardest) schedule in the league, facing opponents with a record of 121-132-3 and a win percentage of .479 last season.
By the numbers, the Raiders face the toughest schedule this season and the Redskins have the easiest road to the playoffs.
