Seahawks starting linemen D.J. Fluker, Duane Brown still not practicing

The Seattle Seahawks faced off against the Cleveland Browns without two of their starting offensive linemen last Sunday and still escaped with a win. Right guard D.J. Fluker (hamstring) and left tackle Duane Brown (biceps) have yet to return to practice.

Fluker, who injured his hamstring against the Rams, seems to be on the mend.

“He went through the walkthrough,” Carroll said before Wednesday’s practice. “I’ll know more here when we see how he can handle it. We’re day to day. I wouldn’t know anything until Friday at the earliest.”

Brown, on the other hand, is more of a long shot for this Sunday, unable to even participate in the team’s walkthrough.

Jamarco Jones and George Fant, who admirably stepped in for Fluker and Jones respectively, may hear their numbers called again this week.

The Seahawks have a full practice Thursday and a walkthrough Friday, after which the final injury report of the week will be released.
